Spirit Rider NOR
The Spirit Rider events will be curtailed this year to the Memorial Mass being held at the Ocean Club at 9:30 am Sunday 9/11/2022.
There will NOT be a Captains Dinner (Friday) or Awards Dinner (Saturday). However, in keeping with the tradition of The Spirit Rider Regatta, the following has been proposed to and accepted by Noreen Costello the event sponsor:
The PLYC fleet will leave Pt Lookout at 09:00 (or earlier if you need more time) on Sunday 9/11. We will muster with ships Dressed & circle in front of the surf Club during the Paddle Out portion of the Event. That is scheduled to take place at 10:30. It is approximately 7 miles from the marina to the surf club.
The fleet will then proceed to the ER buoy, where we commence a race back to the JI (round to your port side) and finish at the 1&2.
High Tide is at 08:50 & Low Tide is at 15:00.
A suggested entrance donation of $50 per vessel payable to PLYC will be forwarded in it’s entirety to the O’Keefe Foundation Scholarship fund.
