It is with deep sadness and heavy heart to share the sad news of the passing of our Tom Harsh’s mother Joanne Harsh. We may not of know her personally, but she must have been a wonderful soul because she raised such an incredible man. On behalf of all of the PLYC family, sending the Harsh family are deepest condolences for their loss.

PLYC August 26 Membership Meeting Agenda- 6:30 pm

Opa PLYC!

Hope everyone stayed dry and cool today.
Tomorrow, Saturday August 26 is our PLYC August monthly members meeting 6:30 pm at the pergola .  The theme is Greek Potluck followed by Greek dancing lesson by Mende.  We will also have a special guest, welcome Stavros our Greek Captain visiting from Greece.  He will be heading the fleet of PLYC 4 beautiful Catamarans island hopping adventures.  We will also have some guests joining us after the meeting that will also be joining the trip.   
Potluck is bring whatever delicious delights are Greek to you.  The grill will be lit a 5:30 pm.

Weekend Update

Ahoy!  Here's what's happening this weekend.

The August membership meeting is this Saturday, August 26th at the pergola. We will be voting on some changes in the bylaws. 
The theme of the evening is Greek Night and will include Greek dancing lessons and Greek BBQ/pot luck. Bring a Greek inspired dish, favorite beverage, and your dancing shoes. 
We will light the grill around 5:30.
Meeting will start at 7; dance lessons to follow.
See you then!!

PLYC August 11-13 weekend events

Ahoy PLYC!

Ready everyone for another great weekend!

Hope everyone has recovered from our PLYC very happy fun Dark and Stormy party last weekend with some great sunny sailing. We had old hats from way back when and a great pot luck. Huge thank you to Social Commodores for making it happen.

This weekend we have a full schedule starting off tonight, Friday night with our very first Captain Ron outdoor movie night at pergola. So bring your chairs, snacks and of course your beverages. Vice Commodore Paul will be setting up for a 9pm showing.

Saturday we have our Annual Krazy Kayak races. Who will take the title this year! Bono will be bringing the winning magnum of bubbles. Everyone be at the dock by 12:30 sharp.

Sunday we have the DRINKY Dinghy clam bake at the double dock AA beach. All licensed clammers and dinghy Captains be ready to leave the dock at 11:00am … PLYC time 😉😜

The membership meeting has been pushed to Saturday August 26, 2023 at 7 pm at the pergola. Thai years theme will be Greek dancing lesson from our very own Mende. We shall be also doing some Greek BBQ pot luck afterward. With a very special guest, we shall welcome Greek Captain Stavros of the Greece Fleet trip will be joining as well.

Weather permitting, let’s hope the shattered Thundershowers will skip Point Lookout as they usually do.

Friday night is Movie Night Under the Pergola featuring “Captain Ron.”  Movie starts at 9pm. BYOP (popcorn)
Saturday is the Krazy Kayak Race.  Launch time is 1pm. Kayakers should arrive by 12:30. Who will be the winner this year?
