DO NOT Include multiple large pictures on your emails to “members”. Keep your pictures to a reasonable size, medium usually works well. And, do not include the “members” email on distribution lists. These practices are causing the website to stop posting. We are losing important updates stuck behind these failing posts.

EH arrived this morning at about 6:00 o’clock. She is safe in her slip waiting for the incoming storm. The Skipper plans to give her a good cleaning and invite guests to see her later on Sunday afternoon.

Welcome home crew. Let’s look forward to a great summer of competition and companionship.

As of about 10:20 this morning they were parallel to Delaware about 40 miles offshore, with very roughly 170 miles to go. The winds are at their back and quite strong, close to 20 kts. I hope the seas are not too high. I am sure they are looking forward to a good rest as much as we are looking forward to greeting them. Stay safe EH!

Two new features have been added to the PLYC website. The “Event Registration” menu selection has been changed to “Registration” and now allows members to register online. Each member should fill out the registration form to insure club records are up to date. You can also pay your dues right from the bottom of the same page using PayPal.

In addition, a feature called “Sailor Training” has been added to the “Member Resources” menu that includes YouTube selections of helpful skills and procedures every sailor should know. Feel free to send your suggestions for additional videos.

Visit the apparel store for PLYC gear and don’t forget to add your boat name to the sleeve. The store opened today and will close on May 10th at midnight.

This is the last chance to take advantage of the group rate for the online six-pack license. So far we have only two people planning to take the training. If you are interested, there is information posted on the member forum below. Check it out and let me know ASAP.
