It was a tough start. Light winds and an incoming tide challenged the fleet! A strong start by MadySueLynn with line honors & Haleakala 2 & Rossa Di Serra nosing over the start neck & neck. Many boats chose to take the High road and clean the ocean rather than fight Mother Nature. (Reports of lots of balloons captured) However, perseverance paid off for a few. The wind built as the afternoon progressed. Three boats called in their times for the finish.

Postponed till Monday July 5th

The Stars & Stripes Regatta is being rescheduled for July 5th. Tomorrow’s tide/wind forecast and conjunction with the fireworks event is necessitating this change.
